In 2020, The Cortez Family began its journey of growing tobacco in the heart of New Jersey. Nestled just a mile from the Atlantic Ocean, the family saw an opportunity to harness the ideal growing conditions of the local soil, enriched by the mineral deposits from the generational farmland and the natural salt air carried by the sea breeze.
